The banner
Shopify already has a banner. What does Consentia add?
Full control over design and wording, all seven Consent Mode v2 signals sent before Google tags, statistics and, on Pro, a consent record. Once Consentia is enabled, turn off the Shopify banner so that visitors do not see two.
Where is the banner shown?
By default, only in regions that require prior consent (the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), based on your store settings. Optionally, it can be shown to every visitor.
Is it compatible with my theme?
Yes. Consentia runs as a theme extension on any Shopify theme, with no code. The app checks automatically that it is enabled.
Can the wording be changed?
Yes, all of it: the title, message, buttons and category descriptions. On Pro, international visitors automatically see an English version.
Data
What data is kept about visitors?
The consent identifier, the choice, the region code, the page and the time. No names, email addresses or IP addresses are stored. Data is kept for 12 months on servers in the EU, then deleted automatically.

In the app privacy policy and the data processing agreement (DPA), both linked in the footer.
Billing
How much does it cost?
Basic: $9 a month or $90 a year, with a 7-day trial. Pro: $20 a month or $220 a year, with no trial.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, from the app. It stays active until the end of the paid period, after which no further charges are made.
